Freelance Online Marketing and Sales Professional (m / f / d)

Democracy Technologies is an online magazine and platform, dedicated to innovative technologies that empower citizens to play a more active role in democratic decision-making processes. We cover topics around digital citizens’ participation, online voting and digital tools for democracy within political organisations. 

Currently, our audiences (political professionals, civil servants, public sector consultants, and technology providers) receive our content for free. In the near future, we are planning to supplement our free offer with paid content and services. To help us grow our audiences and  make the launch of our additional products successful, we are looking for a:   

Responsibilities: 

  • Crafting and implementing a robust marketing strategy for our online magazine
  • Develop and implement strategies for messaging and marketing for newly launched paid products
  • Developing user journeys that lead to the launch of new products and liaising with developers on the corresponding web development needs
  • Evaluating, and optimising paid ad and email campaigns 
  • Improving and maintaining regular user reporting mechanisms


Your qualifications:

We are looking for an enthusiastic,  results-driven, reliable and creative professional to join our team. You should bring:

  • Experience with LinkedIn, Twitter and Google Ad campaigns
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp and SEO marketing
  • Strong competencies in user data analytics
  • Experience with new product launches
  • Understanding of our target audiences (political professionals, civil servants, public sector consultants, technology providers)
  • The ability to work autonomously towards the commonly defined goals
  • Mother tongue or equivalent level of English

We are looking for a freelancer who can work with us for 10 hours/week with pay ranging between € 2000-2900 (depending on qualifications) starting as soon as possible.
