The Innovation in Politics Institute stands in solidarity with the people and the nation of Ukraine. We condemn in the strongest possible terms Russia’s unprecedented military aggression against Ukraine. We have had the great privilege of getting to know many courageous civil society actors and democratic political professionals in Ukraine, including the winner of the 2020 Innovation in Politics Award in the category of Democracy. They and others like them have been leading lights embodying our shared values of freedom, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. Our thoughts are with them and all of the people of Ukraine.
