Truth, Lies & Democracy (TLD) is a live-streamed game jam where developers create interactive video games that teach players how to identify and respond to misinformation, disinformation, and content manipulation. With over 386 million gamers in Europe, TLD taps into the vast potential of the gaming community to promote critical thinking and democratic values. By combining mentorship, collaborative game development, and public showcases, the initiative fosters creative engagement with complex societal challenges and highlights the role of interactive media in safeguarding democracy.

We counter eroding trust in democracy and encourage people to become agents against fake news and smear campaigns - all while playing with their friends!
