The iValues Awards 2021 received 279 project submissions from all over the MENA region – more than anyone expected. We are excited to see such an outstanding number of participants and have now invited citizen jurors to assume their task of evaluating the projects. As is the common practice at the Innovation in Politics Awards, the projects for the iValues Awards are also rated according to the criteria “Innovation”, “Participation” and “Sustainability”.
The submissions from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia do not fail to demonstrate the variety of developments in the region. The ambition of the Awards is to recognise the most valuable efforts in this respect.
