When the transmission of a virus includes direct transmission, contact transmission as well as aerosol transmission, it is dangerous for medical personnel to detect the temperatures of people. During the Coronavirus crisis is also a problem, especially in high-density urban areas (e.g. train stations, metro stations, airports).
To prevent people conduct risky tasks, AI can be used to detect temperatures of individuals through the use of infrared cameras. Consequently, medical personnel could then focus only on testing people with a high-risk of infection.
