A Children’s University allows young children to participate in special courses and workshops and experience what university life is like. During the coronavirus crisis, these programmes had to be cancelled.
The “KinderuniWien” (“Children’s University Vienna”) has started the programme kinderuni@home. Scientists make short videos in which they explain what they are currently working on and even give instructions on small experiments for children to try at home.
