The coronavirus pandemic poses considerable legal challenges, such as postponed court hearings in times of physical distancing, the need to enforce people’s rights or compliance issues.
At the FT Innovative Lawyers Global Legal Hackathon (FTIL-GLH), legal industry talents cooperate to create solutions for the most pressing legal and regulatory challenges caused by the pandemic. FTIL-GLH launched a global call to identify, create, and deliver a new product or service that addresses real-time, real-life legal challenges. More than 2,700 participants from 225 organisations and 70 countries have submitted 170 projects.
