During the coronavirus crisis, health systems all around the globe experience limited medical capacities and resources. In addition to existing heavy workloads faced by medical staff, an increasing number of doctors and nurses fall ill or are quarantined.

Whether this will be implemented is currently evaluated by the German Ministry of Health. The Ministry is in the process of investigating all possible legal options to speed up the applications of qualified doctors, especially those who only require a medical language exam.
