When social isolation measures are in place, most children have to stay at home. Suddenly, their days are filled with remote learning and video calls with classmates. As online platforms gain greater importance in this difficult period, municipalities need to react and offer their services online, as well.
To support parents and children in isolation, the Municipality of Besiktas in Turkey started a broadcasting service called Besiktas Municipality TV to offer colourful educational programmes for children. Many different types of content are offered to entertain children in a meaningful way, from plays to movie screenings.
