As places where many people meet, libraries are potential places for viruses to spread. Therefore many of them had to close during current lockdowns enforced to slow down the spread of the novel coronavirus.
In the Swedish city of Kalmar, a library offers a contactless book pick-up. Library users can call the library and place their order. Once the books are ready to be collected, users receive a call back and can pick up the books in front of the library.
