In times of social isolation, it is difficult to stay in touch with friends and family, especially when not everyone has access to social media and other digital ways to communicate.
To help reconnect with family, friends, and loved ones, An Post, Ireland’s postal service has launched a new “Come Together. Write Now” campaign. It is giving every household free postcards to write personal messages for posting on, free of charge, to family and friends across the country. Two specially designed postcards, paid to anywhere in Ireland, are being delivered to people’s homes and additional cards are available at local post offices. The personal notes are aimed at raising people’s spirits and reminding everyone that they are not forgotten and that we are all in this together.
