    Reducing the impact of fake news during the Covid-19 crisis

    As the health crisis continues, contradictory information is being disseminated on social networks and the internet. The whole world is currently also facing a “fake news” / “infox” pandemic about the coronavirus.

    “Infodemiie” is the expression chosen by the WHO to describe the rumours surrounding the epidemic. The fight against false information is urgent. “Stop Infox COVID-19” aims to raise awareness around the problems related to false information about the coronavirus epidemic and the promotion of the use of the name “infox” to replace the anglicism “fake news” in the media and current use.
