Staying at a physical distance from each other makes it more difficult to be there for one another. The coronavirus crisis requires us to get creative to show our willingness to help others.
In some parts of Germany, people are hanging cloth bags out of their windows or on their doors to show that they want to be there for their neighbours. The symbol is based on a word pun. In German, the word cloth bag means Jutetasche and Jute is also a dialect version of gute (good). #juteNachbarn, therefore, stands for good neighbours.
