A digital stage for art, music and theatre ensembles

During lockdown and quarantine, many cultural institutions were forced to cancel their concerts and performances. But although many performances are available online, only a few of them provide livestreams because the appropriate technical equipment is hard and expensive to come by.
To empower larger music and theatre ensembles to rehearse at home and to perform together live on a digital stage in front of an audience, the project digital-stage was developed during the German government’s hackathon.
