A government app to make the population aware of Covid-19

Technology provides governments with the chance to inform their citizens about the latest updates and developments in specific matters, directly and timely. During the coronavirus crisis, governments published apps that were specifically adapted to citizens’ needs.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health launched an app with the objective of making the population aware of Covid-19. The app enables the government to inform citizens on various topics (such as symptoms, preventive measures), the next hospital, a check if the symptoms are compatible with Covid-19, as well as with official news provided by the Ministry.
