A major crisis has an impact on everyone at the national, regional, and municipal level. It changes people’s work, financial situation, sense of security, sometimes their health and even life. The vulnerable groups in society are most at risk.
To coordinate help for those in need during the coronavirus crisis, the city of Gdansk supports the project #GdańskPomaga. #GdańskPomaga is a joint initiative of the city of Gdańsk, the Gdańsk Foundation, the Gdańsk International Fair SA, the Energa Gdańsk Stadium and the Regional Volunteer Center in Gdańsk. Its aim is to support those in need, be it individuals or organisations. An online platform collects community initiatives supported by the city, highlights an initiative for students and gives interested persons the chance to offer help and donations.
