Even without a crisis situation, children face very unequal challenges in the education system. Now as they suddenly have to learn from home, many children from less privileged families are unable to follow remote lessons as well as their more well-off peers.
A Dutch project that usually runs study halls for underprivileged children now uses its unique insights into this vulnerable group to find out what they need to continue learning. With the support of businesses in their community, they provide these children with internet access, laptops or online study support depending on their needs.
