    Caring for street animals during the Covid-19 situation

    The coronavirus crisis not only threatens humans but the lives of animals, as well, especially those who are not taken care of by their owners.

    To provide care for animals, Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality continues its services to feed street animals. The Veterinary Affairs Branch Directorate team puts food in special boxes in various places of the city which can be then picked up by street animals.

    Helping tourists to maintain physical distancing

    The Swedish island of Gotland hired a group of armored knights to patrol well-visited places in the region to ensure that tourists adhere to physical distancing measures.

    An initiative brings together volunteer teachers and families

    La Classe à la Maison connects volunteer teachers and children and parents from kindergarten to 5th grade to ensure high-quality distance learning during the pandemic.
