Digital education tools made available for free

Many countries lack the capacity for digital tools in their education systems. Therefore, teachers and schools are unprepared to suddenly switch to remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Estonia and other countries from northern Europe, where the use of digital education tools was the norm already before the crisis, are sharing them for free now. This helps schools in other countries to make use of them immediately and helps digital education startups to gain a reputation in other countries.

This initiative was started by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research in cooperation with other countries and digital education companies.
