During the lockdowns which have been imposed to curb the Covid-19 pandemic, people confined to their homes are forced to find novel ways to connect.
Widzialna Ręka (“Visible Hand”) is a facebook group in which members can offer or ask for help during coronavirus isolation. Everything is provided for free. The group was created on Wednesday 11 March 2020, for a group of friends. On 19th March, it already had over 90,000 users and “branches” in several cities, regions and even countries around the world. The founder of the group, Filip Żulewski is an engineer who lives in Warsaw and works at the university. He is involved in many cultural and educational initiatives.
