The coronavirus crisis not only affects our physical health. Insecurity, worries, and the current limitations of our freedom also impact our mental health. Thus, for us as a society, it is imperative to also care for those whose mental health is endangered.
In partnership with the University of British Columbia (UBC) and the BC Psychological Association (BCPA), the Province of British Colombia offers free mental health services to all residents. The telephone-based support will be available to any B.C. resident who is experiencing stress, anxiety, or uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program offers information and strategies to help people cope with mental health struggles related to the coronavirus outbreak.
