    Giving public space to bars and cafes

    Quarantine and lockdown during the coronavirus crisis heavily affect restaurants and bars. Due to physical distancing rules, they had to close their doors to for weeks on end.

    Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius, has announced plans provide much of its public space to the hard-hit bar and restaurant owners. This empowers them to put their tables outdoors and still comply with physical distancing rules.
