    Google drones deliver books to students in lockdown

    Due to the acute corona situation, schools and libraries in parts of the USA are still closed. To provide pupils with reading material during the lockdown, a school library in the US state of Virginia is working with Alphabet Drone Deliveries.

    Up to 150,000 books can be borrowed by students in the Montgomery County public school system. They can use Google Forms to specify which book they need, and librarians will process the order and deliver the books to Wing Deliveries. The delivery is free of charge for the students.
