Government fund to develop innovative solutions

Innovative solutions or ideas can have a strong impact on how crises are handled by society. Sometimes these innovations even support essential government policies or programmes. During the coronavirus crisis this was the case especially for technological projects.  

Thus, to foster the development of such solutions to tackle the crisis’ secondary effects, the French government issued a call for technological innovation which are not only effective but also can be produced very fast. The call was open for 3 weeks and funded with € 10 million.

The fund was started by the French Agence Innovation Defense.

Publicly discussing the geopolitical consequences of Covid-19

The French project Open Diplomacy started a public platform to discuss the geopolitical effects of Covid-19.

An initiative brings together volunteer teachers and families

La Classe à la Maison connects volunteer teachers and children and parents from kindergarten to 5th grade to ensure high-quality distance learning during the pandemic.
