    Helping children in oncological care via Facebook

    The coronavirus crisis makes the lives of children with cancer or other oncological diseases even more difficult. Stricter hospital regulations such as limited visits mean that they are suffering in isolation.

    The LAD project in Italy usually organises creative activities with children in hospitals. Now it has created a virtual space on Facebook with stories, workshops, games, and magic designed especially for children and youths suffering from oncological diseases.

    Government platform to recruit retired or unemployed health professionals

    The French Ministry of Solidarity and Health launched a platform to recruit volunteers and health professionals who are unemployed or retired.

    An initiative brings together volunteer teachers and families

    La Classe à la Maison connects volunteer teachers and children and parents from kindergarten to 5th grade to ensure high-quality distance learning during the pandemic.
