When life is changing rapidly and new regulations are published on a daily basis, such as during the Covid-19 pandemic, having access to the most up-to-date information is vital. And it gives people a sense of security.

The German City of Ravensburg offers its citizens a free information service not only on Facebook and Instagram but via Telegram, as well. Interested persons simply need to register at the city’s website, then they will receive the messages directly on their smartphone. The news include current rules and regulations, open and closed shops, updates on support offers. This service is so successful that the city is planning to keep it up after the coronacrisis.
