In some places, the economic and social consequences of the coronavirus outbreak are so hard that people cannot afford to buy food. Before the crisis, a large number of families depended on the free meals their children received at school. When schools had to close, many children went hungry. But children are not the only vulnerable group in need of food support.
To tackle this problem, the city of Philadelphia has created a map of food distribution sites. The places are grouped by eligibility criteria so people can immediately identify where they will be able to receive free meals.
