    Multilingual education material

    Switching to remote schooling is particularly difficult for children whose parents do not speak the national language of their country of residence well. Therefore it is feared that the school closures during the current Covid-19 will increase inequalities in education.

    The Norwegian National Center for Multicultural Education (NAFO) offers a wide range of multilingual educational materials for all subjects. They support students who grow up with several languages, to use their languages for studying. Also, they allow parents who are not fluent in Norwegian to engage with their children on their schoolwork.

    A website launched by the city administration of Rheinfelden gives its citizens an overview of local support services.

    Government platform to recruit retired or unemployed health professionals

    The French Ministry of Solidarity and Health launched a platform to recruit volunteers and health professionals who are unemployed or retired.
