    Support and information in foreign languages

    Getting the right information is crucial in a crisis situation and particularly difficult for people who do not speak the official language of the country they live in. The current Corona crisis and the measures to slow down its spread, require the cooperation of everybody. This means that information in an official language alone is not sufficient.

    The Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) started an information campaign about the novel Corona virus for people with a migration background. The information, which includes explanatory videos, is available in 11 languages and sent out via text message to all people who had been in contact with the organisation over the past years, as well as to media channels directed at people with a migration background.
