Teachers share their best homeschooling practices with parents

During the Covid-19 crisis, many schools were closed and parents had to teach their children at home. But as most parents lack the expertise to do that, homeschooling posed a great challenge for many.

To connect parents with experienced teachers to exchange advice on homeschooling, a newspaper set up a Whatsapp group. This group chat helps parents to get to know e.g. which apps and platforms to use, solutions for the lack of peace and quiet in small apartments, and which teaching methods suit different age groups.

The initiative was started by The Guardian.

To motivate young people to develop ideas that support their neighbourhood, city or region, "wweeddoo" called for the best ideas and offers them financial support.

Government platform to recruit retired or unemployed health professionals

The French Ministry of Solidarity and Health launched a platform to recruit volunteers and health professionals who are unemployed or retired.
