Free temporary bike sharing

Many people currently avoid the use of public transport in order to lower the risk of infection with Covid-19. Nonetheless, the need for mobility remains.

The city of Berlin is currently financing the first half-hour for the use of the local bike-sharing system to invite more people to switch to cycling as a way of commuting.

This initiative was started by the senate of Berlin and is implemented together with the bike-sharing provider nextbike.
