    Video updates on Covid-19 measures for civil servants

    During the coronavirus crisis, governments focused on informing citizens about measures to prevent the spread of the virus. But some forgot to properly inform civil servants about those measures. This, of course, made cooperation in governments more difficult and reduced the effectivity of the measures.

    The city of Lille (France) therefore decided to launch its own WebTV for its civil servants to keep them updated about what was happening in the different departments. The city’s Purchasing and Logistics department, for instance, gives insights into the manufacture of protective visors.

    Helping tourists to maintain physical distancing

    The Swedish island of Gotland hired a group of armored knights to patrol well-visited places in the region to ensure that tourists adhere to physical distancing measures.

    Government platform to recruit retired or unemployed health professionals

    The French Ministry of Solidarity and Health launched a platform to recruit volunteers and health professionals who are unemployed or retired.
