Virtual town hall meetings

The coronavirus crisis requires most of us to adapt our everyday lives. For cities, this means that they need to intensify their communication with citizens while reducing direct contact.

The municipality of Oakland is hosting weekly virtual town hall meetings where the mayor and other city officials inform residents about the current situation. Citizens can use an online platform to submit questions before each online meeting.
