The Active Citizen Academy offers a free, comprehensive educational program designed for adult residents of Kraków who are eager to contribute actively to their neighborhoods and the city as a whole. The Academy’s core mission is to build social and civic skills by equipping participants with practical knowledge about civic participation, including local initiatives, participatory budgeting, and public consultations.
A GROWING COMMUNITY OF CHANGE-MAKERS
Since its launch, the Academy has successfully hosted four editions, attracting strong interest and high involvement from diverse participants across Kraków. Open to all adults regardless of prior experience, the program values enthusiasm and commitment to making a meaningful difference in local community life. Through expert-led workshops covering social communication, local legislation, and activity design, participants gain actionable skills while building lasting connections with fellow engaged residents, fostering collaboration and a strong community spirit.
