An interface to connect medical institutions, students and professionals

In the last weeks, health care systems all around the globe were under pressure. This is especially true for medical professionals who were working long hours to keep the system running. Amongst others, also medicine students offered their support but initiatives were not bundled together and so their impact was limited.

At the German government’s hackathon (#wirvsvirus) the initiative “Medical Students vs. Covid-19”, the federal representation of medical students in Germany e.V. and a team of tech experts, created a platform to connect people seeking and offering help. Potential helpers provide information on location, training level, and previous experience. In return, institutions can find and contact the right person with just a few clicks.
