In times of physical distancing measures to reduce the spread of the Covid-19, not only vulnerable people need support; animals – be it pets, farm animals or stray dogs shouldn’t be left alone either.
#AnimalSolidarityGR, run by the Greek Ministry of Interior, invites companies, organisations, and veterinarians from all over Greece to help care for stray animals as well as pets and farm animals whose owners are unable to do so. The animals’ needs include food and medicine, veterinary services and emergency assistance, as well as transportation of goods.
Everyone wishing to help can register at their website; after the registration is verified, their offers are posted on the platform. The services and products are directed to the Municipalities that need them.
