Blog to bring people together

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an increased need for exchange between citizens and businesses. In this time of crisis it is difficult for people to find most up-to-date information on open jobs, or, where they can offer their voluntary work.

In Estonia, a blog was created under the motto #seljadkokku (backing each other) to bring people looking for jobs together with companies that seek employees. Also, people who need assistance are being linked with businesses/volunteers who can provide it. The city of Talinn, in cooperation with the countries’ news portal delfi.ee, operates the section. The blogposts are moderated, posts are being published 5 times a day to ensure up to date content.

To see the blog, check out the comment section in this article.
