    Car producer offers support to produce medical equipment

    In times of crisis it is important to support those companies that produce goods which are essential to ensure public health. Not only governments take action during the coronavirus crisis, but private companies offer their experience and support, as well.

    The multinational truck manufacturer Scania sent production and logistics personnel to the Swedish company Getinge, a medical technology company, to help rapidly increase the production of ventilators. Together they tried to rapidly increase the production of medical equipment and support health institutions.

    As many hospital workers in Paris work shifts of 15 hours and more, they are provided with a free cab service.

    Free grocery delivery for medical workers

    During the crisis, the supermarket chain Monoprix supports medical workers by offering free grocery delivery.
