The crisis situation caused by the spread of the coronavirus creates numerous challenges for everybody. Some people can not go outside to do their shopping, others are faced with suddenly having to home-school their kids, while also working from home.
The facebook group “I Danmark hjælper vi hinanden – COVID19” was created to easily communicate needs and offers for help across Denmark. People use it to organize help for their elderly parents living in a different region, to offer online help with homework or even accommodation to those in need.
This group was started in Denmark. Similar initiatives exist in most countries.
