    Distilleries produce hand-sanitizer

    During the outbreak of an infectious disease, more disinfectant is needed than usual. A temporary shortage of disinfectant occurred in many places during the current COVID-19 outbreak. Many health institutions worried that they would not have enough available to protect their employees.

    Distilleries that were going to close like many other businesses, have now turned to producing hand-sanitizer. Their equipment is perfectly suitable to produce high-proof alcohol and the other ingredients are easy to come by.
