    EcoWalk

In many places, going for walks or jogging are among the few leisure activities permitted during the lockdown.

In the Italian coastal town of San Ferdinando, the deputy mayor has started a campaign to combine walking or jogging with picking up trash from the local beaches. The trend called “plogging” (plocka upp – pick-up in Swedish – and jogging) is particularly beneficial in times when more plastic disposables are used. To inspire others, participants post pictures in the municipality’s Facebook group.
