    Free parking for hospital staff and care workers

    Hospital staff and care workers are at the forefront of taking care of patients and fighting the coronavirus pandemic. They work tirelessly in extremely stressful environments, many of them are ill-payed whilst their needs are often overlooked.

    Bristol City Council now offers free parking for NHS staff and care workers in all council-owned car parks, on-street pay and display bays, as well as residents’ parking zones. The “permit” works without red tape: they simply need to put a photocopy of their work pass with sensitive information removed and a letter of evidence from their employer in the windscreen of their car.
