    Local platform for neighbourhood support

During the coronacrisis, mutual support on a hyperlocal level such as neighbourhoods or even apartment building has turned out to be vital for the well-being of people confined to their homes.

Nachbarhelfen (“neighbour helping”) is a local online platform run by the Social Network Lausitz in Germany. It matches people offering help with those who need it. At their website nachbarhelfen.de both groups can create an individual profile including their offers or needs respectively and people can find their match via the search function.
