Open-source medical supplies

During the coronavirus crisis, the shortage of medical supplies poses a great problem for countries and health care facilities. Valuable open-source solutions can help to meet the demand for those supplies.

The OSMS Medical Team set up a Facebook group that shares promising open-source designs for key supplies as well as ideas for how to work together during the Covid-19 pandemic. OSMS provides the local producers with sourced links to designs and supports them by organising local value chains. Designs that are curated by the OSMS Medical Team are explicitly flagged as such and included in its Medical Supply Guide.
