    Organ concerts for retirement homes

    Strict visitation rules and cancelled activities make the lives of retirement home residents increasingly lonely. At the same time, many musicians and actors are out of work as theatres and concert halls are closed and public events are cancelled.

    In the German cities of Oldenburg and Braunschweig, musicians have given organ concerts just outside of retirement homes. The residents and care workers were positively surprised by this entertaining interruption of their daily routines.

    Providing hospitals and frontline medical staff with necessary equipment

    To provide hospitals with missing equipment, an initiative crowdsources necessary materials such as masks and visors.

    Freshly cooked meals for hospital workers

    To show solidarity to medical staff during the crisis, a group of volunteers mobilized to bring prepared meals to hospital workers.
