    Platform connects pupils with university students for support

    As schools are closed to slow down the spread of the coronavirus, many pupils struggle to follow remote learning. Most parents cannot fill this gap all by themselves.

    A group of university students in Germany has created a platform that connects pupils with university students who volunteer to support them. The students are screened in an interview process and matched with pupils according to the subjects they need help with.

    Providing hospitals and frontline medical staff with necessary equipment

    To provide hospitals with missing equipment, an initiative crowdsources necessary materials such as masks and visors.

    Freshly cooked meals for hospital workers

    To show solidarity to medical staff during the crisis, a group of volunteers mobilized to bring prepared meals to hospital workers.
