Psychological support for children

Children are among the most vulnerable groups during a crisis. Their physical safety needs to be protected and their mental well-being needs to be taken care of. Many psychological support systems, however, are created for adults.

The operators of the USL company of Ferrara created an online section in which they offer psychological support for everyone, but with a focus on children. Psychologists of the Operative Unit of Childhood Adolescent Neuropsychiatry (UO NPIA) of the Integrated Department of Mental Health Pathological Dependencies offer a new service of telephone counselling for families of minors as well as to teenagers and young people from 14 to 24.
