    Restaurant cooks for helpers

As places where large numbers of people meet, restaurants are potential places for infectious diseases to spread. Many of them have to stay closed during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

A Viennese gourmet restaurant has decided to keep the kitchen running and cook meals for people who are helping in this crisis. Under increased protective measures against infection, they are providing complete menus to the helpers. Several sponsors support this effort with donations of food and packaging.

This initiative was started by the Viennese Restaurant Steirereck. Many restaurants worldwide have started similar initiatives.
