    Social distancing stickers in supermarkets

    Being frequented by numerous customers everyday, supermarkets are potential places of infectious diseases to spread. None the less, they must remain open in most regions during the current COVID-19 outbreak, as they are part of the essential infrastructure.

    To nudge customers to keep their distance from each other, Danish supermarkets have put stickers on the floor. They tell the customers in which distance to stand in line, in order to decrease the risk of infection.

    Helping tourists to maintain physical distancing

    The Swedish island of Gotland hired a group of armored knights to patrol well-visited places in the region to ensure that tourists adhere to physical distancing measures.

    Free grocery delivery for medical workers

    During the crisis, the supermarket chain Monoprix supports medical workers by offering free grocery delivery.
