    Special trolleys in supermarkets to support families in need

    Globally, the coronavirus crisis developed into an economic crisis. Many people have not been able to buy basic necessities or prepare proper meals for their families.

    In the Carrefour points of sale in Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily, dedicated trolleys have been placed at the checkouts, and customers are invited to fill them with food and other basic necessities. The Municipality and Civil Protection then distribute them to families in need. This initiative was launched by Apulia Distribuzione, the company that manages the Carrefour network in the four regions of Southern Italy.
